Reflecting on last year and our busiest to date, the Holeshot motorcycle PR team is also excited to look ahead to 2023 as we sign a pair of important new multi-year renewals with Kawasaki Motors UK and R&G.

The last 12 months have witnessed an explosion in the need for high-quality shot-for-socials video, which has in turn necessitated us growing our team. We are now able to create even more content from race meetings, product shoots, and motorcycle and automotive events.

This came into its own at Motorcycle Live, with four Holeshot staff on-the-ground creating videos to showcase our clients’ activities. This included R&G, Super Soco, Datatag and Kawasaki, whose impressive new double-decker stand was the star of our intro video.

These investments in resources and increased commitments no doubt helped the decisions of two of our major clients to commit to longer partnerships, with Kawasaki Motors UK signing us up for two more years and R&G for a further three.

R&G Managing Director Simon Hughes commented, “This agreement takes us into an 11th year with Holeshot PR.  We’ve been on a journey with Holeshot PR since 2015, and together we’ve extended the reach and creativity of our promotions as the media landscape has changed. The team has very much become an extension of our own internal staff, so we’re pleased we will now be working with them for over a decade.”

We have also increased our support to Pirelli, a highly valued client since our formation in 2010, being chosen by Milan HQ to manage their global social media accounts for sister brand Metzeler, allowing us to take on focused video and photo content creator Toby Lee.

Members of the Holeshot team also travelled out to the EICMA show in Milan to support the UK’s biggest-selling electric bike group Vmoto Super Soco, and we are now planning 2023 activities directly with the brand’s Chinese head office.

Our work with Devitt Insurance Services gave us an opportunity to plan a day with their partner Bikesafe, bringing media and influencers to experience the course in both London and a rural setting. Our first main event in ’23 will be supporting the company’s title sponsorship of the London Motorcycle Show, where we are annually tasked with obtaining media coverage.

Talking of which, we were recently taken on by new impact protection brand RE-ZRO and immediately secured a two-page feature in Motorcycle News, which the brand used to springboard their apparel partnerships at the European trade shows.

Other notable developments in 2022 included an increase in support for Datatag especially surrounding Motorcycle Live, a Segway Powersports video shoot with the massive Carfection YouTube channel and some extended time with Carl Cox at the Isle of Man TT, which helped us develop a four-page feature in BIKE and Australian MCN.

All in all, a very successful season and an even more exciting 2023 is on the cards.

We thank all our clients, staff, suppliers, media friends and partners who have helped us get to where we are now.
