Holeshot PR gets creative for its clients!

The past few months have been the busiest ever for Holeshot PR, with multiple film/photo shoots and media/influencer days to gather fresh content and generate diverse media and social coverage for our wide range of motorcycle and powersport clients.

From the farm to the marina, the all-new Segway Powersports ‘Villain’ turned heads and allowed Holeshot to try some new locations and techniques. The shoot for the newly landed road-legal buggy was originally intended to be all off-road, but the recce proved that the vehicle was equally at home in Lincoln city centre and marina. The result was perfect contrasting backdrops to top up the brand’s social media, dealer materials and press release imagery.

In April, Holeshot organised a Devitt Insurance ‘Bikesafe’ day with a wide selection of media and influencers. The ‘theory’ element took place at the ever-welcoming Bike Shed venue in Shoreditch, Police instructors then accompanied the riders out of the city and onto the sweeping roads of Essex, before a chance to regroup, assess and have a welcome lunch.

Our team shot images and film for the attendees and carried out numerous video interviews. The resulting positive coverage has served to further cement the partnership between Devitt and Bikesafe. It has also been viewed by a far larger audience than a ‘pure’ media event thanks to the use of You Tube creators with high follower numbers.

Holeshot organised another multi-use content creation day for Kawasaki UK in the picturesque Peak District in Derbyshire. We captured the brand’s 2022 models, including the supercharged radar equipped Ninja H2 SX SE, Versys 650 Grand Tourer and Z650RS.

Although the main purpose of the day was to create UK themed content, Kawasaki convinced British Superbike Champion Leon Haslam and You Tube creator ‘Motobob’ to be the riding models for the day. This ensured that the riding shots, fish and chip discussion and post ride interviews reached a large, shared audience.

At the other end of the motorcycle spectrum, long-time electric bike client Super Soco required fresh UK-specific content, so Holeshot helped create a night and day shoot in London. Getting lucky with the night-time temperatures and the cityscape light, the team caught the funky TC Max and micro CU mini in a number of locations around Camden and Primrose Hill with a varied team of models and clothing.

After the long ‘off-season’, the British Superbike Championship has exploded into life with drama and action aplenty as last years’ Champion Tarran Mackenzie injured himself in pre- season testing, giving his rivals two rounds to rack up important points. Having attended the Championship for over 15 years, which is the most popular (on-site and on TV) national motorcycle series in the world, Holeshot has a wide scope of activities at the events.

One of our main opportunities was to attend the pre-season tests to obtain video content for Pirelli for use in preview pieces for each round and images for their programme advertorial. We have also supported R&G’s all new ’22 Technical Centre and their well-received ‘R&G Rookies’ programme.

Next up for the busy agency, a trip to the Isle of Man TT to cover PR, social media and video obligations for a number of clients AND spend some time with one of the world’s keenest TT fans, Mr Carl Cox!
