Holeshot PR delivers results throughout lockdown 3.0

The continuing lockdown restrictions haven’t stopped specialist communications and social media agency, Holeshot PR, from bringing in results for its ever-growing roster of clients.

Following the successful competitive pitch for the Kawasaki Motors UK PR and social media contract, Holeshot PR hit the ground running with an ongoing campaign aimed at injecting new creative content into the brand’s online channels. This included a full programme of activity to support Motorcycle Live Online in place of the manufacturer’s usual presence at the physical show.

On the PR front for Team Green, Holeshot took advantage of one of the last available dates pre-lockdown to organise a media event at the Kawasaki Off-Road Experience, showcasing the experience itself and KMUK’s range of 2021 off-road machinery. The outcome was a broadcast feature on Bike World plus major substantial articles in Motorcycle News and Bike magazine. Elsewhere, Holeshot PR took the lead in filming and editing the Kawasaki dealer conference.

It’s been a bumper few weeks for traditional PR coverage, with significant trade, specialist and regional wins across a number of accounts. The recently-appointed Segway Powersports UK importers tasked Holeshot with informing dealers of this exciting new range. A front page led feature in British Dealer News more than met the brief, delivering immediate results.

FHO Racing and the unique story behind the British Superbike Championship’s only female team owner, Faye Ho, presented a great opportunity for proactive media sell-in. Faye’s story was showcased in a fascinating video interview as part of the #ThinkingForward series on global motorsport bible Motorsport.com and its sister site, Autosport.com. She was also interviewed for entrepreneurial business title, Global Woman magazine.

In the absence of a physical Motorcycle Live event, electric motorcycle brand Super Soco were keen to maximise brand visibility during the online version. Holeshot PR devised a bike giveaway to support the industry’s #UnlockYourFreedom campaign, rewarding an everyday lockdown hero with their freedom on two wheels. The competition received over 600 entries and the prize handover at Super Soco’s new Leicester-based dealership was covered in an on-location broadcast by ITV Central.

An editorial piece for Devitt Insurance Services and its DMOL x Devitt flat track racing team took centre stage on MoreBikes.com, while also being featured on the world’s largest flat track news outlet, Sideburn.

In other news, legendary record producer and motorsport benefactor Carl Cox has been busy producing his weekly ‘Cabin Fever’ sets from lockdown in Melbourne, Australia. Holeshot PR took the opportunity to produce several video interviews, a garage tour of his amazing bike collection and create an all-new Carl Cox Motorsport website at www.carlcoxmotorsport.com.

With ever changing regulations, Holeshot PR has also helped keep customers informed of all developments for their clients, including Pirelli, Öhlins, R&G, Colin Appleyard Motorcycles, Datatag, HM Quickshifter and Bike Alert.
