15 years of Motorcycle PR - Power is nothing without control

2024 sees Holeshot celebrating a decade and a half of providing PR services to the motorcycle industry and we will be sharing some of our highlights throughout the years on our website over the coming weeks.

As one of Holeshot PR's first clients, we've worked with Pirelli at both a UK and global level for 15 proud years. An iconic brand with exacting standards, it's fair to say we've developed as a business to keep up with the ever-changing dynamic of the marketing requirement for Milan and Burton-on-Trent!

Renowned for their passion for racing, Pirelli were at the forefront of offering a Sole Tyre solution to balance the often uneven playing field of motorsport, firstly at World Superbikes in 2004, followed by the incredibly successful domestic series - the Bennetts British Superbike Championship, in 2008. Holeshot has had a constant presence in the BSB paddock through that period, working with the organisers, teams, riders and media.

Away from the circuit, we were tasked with a comprehensive influencer programme to investigate and supply tyres for a wide range of new media types from forums, traditional motorcycle clubs, YouTubers and Instagrammers. This programme gave us early and unrivalled information and access to this often misunderstood, diverse demographic - who have changed the landscape of the media mix so much in recent years.

As we developed our own services, we have been able to offer first graphics, then video, to keep feeding the content-hungry social media channels with engaging material. We were also very proud to secure a Pirelli feature on CNBC World Business.

Two of the major projects we undertake each year are Diablo Day, where we support Pirelli in bringing top riders to a customer trackday (most famously with WorldSBK Champion Jonathan Rea in 2023) and spearheading sister brand Metzeler's sponsorship of the Isle of Man TT.

One of our Pirelli highlights remains taking a large contingent of journalists to test the new Angel GT range on the flight deck of an Italian aircraft carrier, where we all stayed overnight!
