ÖHLINS DEVELOPS ALL-NEW ROAD & TRACK SUSPENSION SUITE FOR AUDI A4 AND A5 MODELS

Öhlins has launched an all-new Road & Track suspension package for the renowned Audi A4 and A5 ranges (including S and RS versions) to transform the handling of these popular models.

The legendary Swedish suspension company has utilised its extensive racing experience and success and combined it with thousands of R&D hours to develop the perfect product for Audi fans who want to take their machine to the next level.

The Road & Track suspension package aims to make the car track day-ready and enhance its road characteristics, with a focus on faster response time, improved bump absorption, driver feedback and better grip. The result is superior road and circuit handling without sacrificing everyday driving comfort.

This is the latest step in the Öhlins Racing automotive philosophy – Road & Track by Öhlins, a more-than-30-year long tradition of high-end racing commitments and state-of-the-art solutions within advanced suspension technology, which is now available for street cars all over the world.

Integral to this product is the use of Öhlins’ DFV (Dual Flow Valve) technology which gives the same characteristics during suspension rebound as it does in compression, thanks to the damper fluid having a consistent path of flow in both directions. In real terms this means the tyres can quickly and effectively resume their position back on the ground, providing grip and traction. Because the DFV opens more quickly and easily on minor road imperfections, ride comfort is superb, giving the car stability over crests, bumps and pot-holes. Full info can be found here.

The Öhlins Road & Track team has extensively tested a wide variation of springs to find the right balance between road and track use. By testing in different conditions on the road as well as on race circuits, a recommended spring rate has been developed.

All Öhlins Road & Track shocks have been subjected to intensive corrosion and salt spray testing to the strict ISO 9227 criteria, giving owners a two-year limited warranty on all of our products - worldwide.

CANCELLATION KIT

For cars equipped OE with electronic adjustable suspension, an Öhlins developed cancellation kit should be used, which can be ordered separately.
