Over 20 million views for Holeshot’s Isle of Man TT videos!

As part of our long-running duties for Pirelli, Holeshot PR devised and fulfilled a comprehensive video/social media campaign for Metzeler motorcycle tyres at this year’s Isle of Man TT with stunning results.

The motorcycle pr campaign received over 20 million views as the onsite team charted the experiences of the riders and fans attending the 103rd Isle of Man TT, where Metzeler is a valued partner as ‘Official Tyre’ sponsor.

Holeshot spent two days on the Island in advance of the event shooting interviews with the Metzeler supported riders, including veteran fan-favourite John McGuinness, in a series of relaxed environments, including at a beach side café.

During TT week itself, Holeshot captured more content with the riders and fans both in the paddock and in the always popular Metzeler unit, located under the main grandstand.

The legendary event also supplied plenty of edge-of-the-seat action around the 37.7 mile course, which was supplied to Holeshot after each session, to be mixed with freshly-shot rider interviews; to great effect.

Injured TT star Lee Johnson was enlisted to present some of the videos, including an interview with a travelling Australian couple on their first visit, plus two edits with Davey Todd playing the TT sim game. Todd went on to become the new star of the TT taking the blue riband ‘Senior’ race for his TAS BMW team and cement his position as Metzeler’s lead rider.

All in all it was a successful TT for Metzeler both ‘between the hedges’ and on social media. We now look forward to next year’s edition!
